Welcome to the online preparation course for the upcoming New Masculinity Retreat in Ibiza! We are excited that you are joining us on this journey.

Explore how to build authentic inner power through seven actionable steps.

3. Power is not strength:

Explore the difference between power and strength. Understand that true strength comes from authenticity and vulnerability, not from control or dominance.

4. Response-Ability:

Understand the empowering concept of responsiveness - the ability to respond mindfully rather than with an unconscious reaction.

5. The Circle of Influence:

Learn to focus your energy on areas that you control and where you can make a significant impact.



 

New Masculinity

As men, we have been conditioned to hide our feelings, suppress our true selves, and fit into outdated stereotypical gender roles. But with the arrival of a new masculinity, we can celebrate our uniqueness and let our true selves shine. Our male qualities should be something to be proud of, not something to be ashamed of. 


Appreciation of Positve, Healthy Masculinity

A 20 min Meditation for Self-Appreciation and Living in Gratefulness



Preparation for a 20 min meditation

  1. Write about the following questions in your notebook or diary:  What do you like and admire about yourself, as a man, a father, a lover, a creator, a risk-taker, a protector, a warrior of truth, ...?

  2. Make a list your qualities, your character traits, your competencies, your achievements, moments where you acted with integrity, …   (Please make a long list!)
  3. Optional: Write also about all the things that make you feel good in your life: Your health, your friends, family and children, your creativity, your hobbies, your work,  ...


To get the most out of this meditation, make it a habit to repeat it regularly. You can integrate it into your morning routine or do it before you go to bed. The key is to practice it as often as possible.

 The meditation ends after 20 minutes and a few minutes of silence with the sound of the meditation bell


    After this meditation, keep a simple "Meditation Diary" in which you can write down in a few words about your experience with this meditation.
